October 1, Vladimir Putin signed a law requiring land-based casinos in Russia to identify players. This law amended the current document that regulates the use of cash registers in gambling establishments.
The State Duma approved the changes back in the spring. After several months of traveling through the legislature, he reached the president and has already been put into execution. Now, when exchanging chips or checks at the casino cash desks, players will be registered with their first name, last name, patronymic and series + passport number, or simply TIN.
